Housing placement for veterans
Housing for veterans who are without stable shelter. We handle placement and stay involved after move-in, coordinating with the services and benefits a veteran is already entitled to.
Supportive Housing Services
A Sacramento non-profit providing housing placement and ongoing support for veterans, seniors, and young adults ages 16 to 25 who are working toward stable, permanent living situations.
What we do
Housing and the support that keeps housing. Each program pairs a place to live with the practical help people need to stay there.
Housing for veterans who are without stable shelter. We handle placement and stay involved after move-in, coordinating with the services and benefits a veteran is already entitled to.
Housing for seniors facing displacement or already without a stable address. Placements account for mobility, access to medical care, and the level of day-to-day support a resident needs.
Housing and support for young adults leaving foster care, exiting shelters or treatment programs, or otherwise without a place to go. The focus is a first stable address and the skills to keep it.
Housing alone rarely holds. We work with residents on documentation, benefits enrollment, household routines, and connections to health care, education, and employment resources.
How we work
A stable address makes everything else possible. We work to get people housed, then build the rest of the plan around that.
Placement is the beginning of the relationship, not the end of it. We stay in contact with residents after they move in.
A veteran, a senior, and a nineteen-year-old leaving foster care need different things. Each plan is written for the person in front of us.
We work alongside the shelters, treatment programs, and county services already involved in a person's case rather than duplicating them.
Where we work
Cozy Comfort Housing is based in Sacramento, California, in the 95827 area on the east side of the city.
